The National Thoroughbred Racing Association has formed the NTRA Players Panel, a group of 12 highly experienced handicappers and bettors, to examine an array of pari-mutuel wagering issues related to integrity and fairness, and to advise the industry on recommended standards and practices. The panelists have been selected to represent the several major circuits of the country and will examine issues of national as well as regional and local interest.

The Panel will be led by NTRA Players Representative James Quinn, a noted author and handicapper who has served the industry in numerous capacities, including consulting for Santa Anita Park since 1995 in Player Development.

Other Panelists include Cary Fotias and Paul Cornman of New York; Maury Wolff of Maryland; Dave Cuscuna and Jim Mineo of Florida; Mike Maloney of Kentucky; David Gutfreund of Illinois; Ponti Compagna of Texas; Andy Cylke, Barry Meadow and Quinn, of California; and Ken Kirchner of the NTRA.
